Points are erased by a midnight batch job 365 days after they are earned. A notice goes out 7 days before deletion. Points granted manually by an administrator follow the same rule.

What happens to my diaries and order data if I close my account?

PLATTY

Accounts are anonymized rather than deleted. Diaries are switched to private. Order and settlement data is retained for the legally required period. You should check that your privacy notice reflects the fact that this isn't a full deletion.
